This is a great reminder.

It's interesting to note that the role of a project manager, above all, is to make sure that the 'Cs' are in place -- in fact, it is about 90 percent of the job. Projects in of themselves are unique. They require a different kind of management than that of everyday business. The business owner or IT manager that recognizes this and installs an appropriate project manager to the task will have a better chance of success.

The same goes for the commitment aspect of the project. Although, I have to say, it is hard to stay commited to a project that is not being run well.
